But once you find the right object, the one you fell in love with at first glance, isn't there a doubt about how to place it, how to use it or integrate it into your personal environment? To me always! So in the next three articles I hope to offer you some original tips for setting up your heart piece at home. I will proceed for environments, today we start from the LIVING ROOM:

The undisputed protagonist is the table in its many nuances. Whether it's a centre table, a side table or a pouf, play with its surface (or surfaces) by arranging it into shapes with one or more trays or by leaning against it an element that stands out for its personality.

The vassoio may sound like a detail, but it makes a real difference. It can be lacquered, metal or rattan, but be sure it will add a touch you style especially when used to hold bottles of liquor a beautiful candle or a good aperitif.

Lights and books are an excellent match when it comes to adding sophisticated light to your room. Aim a spotlight or hide a strip of light near a book with a colored cover and you will be surprised by the effect.

The plants are home, you know. Think of investing in a beautiful cache pot - perhaps of oriental taste - that can accommodate an indoor plant with leaves of a certain size and your stay will immediately become more glamorous.

Finally, think of a corner of the living room where you can place a nice vase or a large transparent bottle to fill with coloured dry flowers. At the first opportunity take or buy a bunch of lavender or a small group of hydrangeas with a changing color, hang them upside down for a few days and let them dry. They will decorate your corner and will be able to keep you company throughout the year.
