Item description
Items have had a single owner and modest usage. Minor signs of wear compatible with the age and use. Leather has some minor scratches and its aging is more evident in zones that got exposed to sunlight. Supporting structure in rosewood. Flying cushions with polyurethane bottom and top in feather on covered steel elastic straps. Original upholstery in leather A simple wooden frame for a leather “classic sofa” which no longer needed an upholsterer or a carpenter. The solution adopted for the feet takes us back to the great Viennese school: it would radically effect the following production of chairs and furniture. Items can be paired with other pieces of furniture in the same hue and style, also by Gavina, including a coffee table (wood/glass); a large table with six Pigreco chairs (design Tobia Scarpa, wood/leather) and two cabinets with shelves and sliding doors.
