Item description

“Tokyo” bench for Nordiska Kompaniet in oak, slatted top, tapered U-shaped frames, 1960s production. “Tokyo” bench designed in 1962 by Yngvar Sandström for Nordiska Kompaniet (NK), made in the NK:s Verkstäder factories in Nyköping in the early/mid 1960s. Oak structure with slatted top fixed to solid side members; base with two inverted U-shaped frames, subtly inclined and tapered. Original label under the top. Good condition. It may show some signs of aging. Please pay attention to the photographs.
