Close-up photographs show brush application, with subtle surface texture and slight relief of the black passages. The pigment sits on the paper surface rather than forming a uniform printed ink layer, and no halftone pattern, plate edge or other printing characteristics are evident. Signature: The inscription at lower right appears hand executed (hand signed), applied in a similar black medium to the composition. Note: I removed the background or paper from the two photos so that the handwritten signature is clearly visible and not a print! The color of the artwork matches the signature, look picture...
