Item description

French showcase from the first half of the 20th century. Cabinet of great quality inlaid with floral decorations in walnut, rosewood, maple and fruit woods. Showcase richly adorned with finely chiseled bronze decorations with heads of putti of great size and pleasant impact (see photo). Two door display case with recessed glass complete with three original interior shelves (inlaid on front) adjustable to various heights. Bookcase complete with a working key, covered internally in fabric with several signs of wear and stains, to be replaced (see photo). Excellent quality antique and interior decorator's furniture that has several signs of time and minor missing veneer (see photos). Top shelf not original, replaced during the 20th century. Showcase structurally sound, to be restored.
