Large Murano glass flower vase designed and produced by Cleto Munari in the 1980s. At the base it bears the engraved signature "Cleto Munari 1989". Born in Gorizia in 1930, goldsmith industrialist, anomalous figure of collector, patron, inventor. He met Carlo Scarpa in the 70s and began to make objects for the home in precious materials. In 1985 he set up a workshop for which some of the greatest architects and designers (Gae Aulenti, Achille Castiglioni, Ettore Sottsass, Michele De Lucchi, Vico Magistretti, Carlo Scarpa) draw. The objects of Cleto Munari are present in the permanent collections of the major museums in the world, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
