The CAB series, designed by Mario Bellini for Cassina in 1977, was conceived in a totally original way, subsequently imitated by many designers and companies. The sofa has a steel frame, covered with a leather "dress" made of different parts sewn together, which close around the frame through zips, just like a dress. Its particularly small dimensions make it a truly versatile piece of furniture, suitable for the most diverse contexts.
