Item description

Louis XIV style upper part of a trumeau, the structure of which has been adapted for use as a wall mirror. The front is walnut-root veneer with rosewood fillets. It consists of a pair of doors, now blocked, decorated with leaf carvings and featuring two large acid-etched mercury mirrors, forming an ornamentation around the perimeter with phytomorphic and floral motifs.
