Important ancient oil painting on canvas Italian painter of the nineteenth century Antonio Baronio Vogogna in Ossola (Novara) approx. 1850 - 1920. Landscape realized with high chromatic quality. Biographical note: At the Albertina in Turin he studied figure and portrait, then, under the guidance of the Scottish painter Arthom, he devoted himself to the landscape. Having settled in Turin, he exhibited at the Circolo degli Artisti and with the "Amici dell'Arte". He participated in national exhibitions with portraits (Portrait, exhibited in Turin in 1898; My wife and children, exhibited in Milan in 1906), genre scenes (New echo in the soul and In A minor, exhibited in Turin in 1898) and landscapes (Casolari nell'Ossola, presented in Rome in 1906). Sold with a large gilded contemporary frame.
