Beautiful bronze sculpture by Gabriele Garbolino Rù. In 2001 the long restoration of a famous Italian monument in the city centre of Turin was completed. To commemorate this event, the famous Italian sculpture Gabriele Garbolino Rù has created this series of bronzes whose subject reproduces the winged genius on the tip of the monument. The bronze patina is beautiful. Perfect for collectors. Biographical note Gabriele Garbolino Rù (Turin 1974) After graduating in sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Turin in 1996, he took part in a series of group exhibitions including "Vanitas" at the Sandro Parmeggiani Museum in Renazzo and at the Palazzo Bricherasio Foundation in Turin. In 2008 one of his works became part of the Gianadda Foundation's sculpture collection, Martigny, Switzerland, exhibited at the ArteFiera in Bologna and at the Pavillon des arts and du disign, Jardin des Tuileries in Paris. He produced bronze portraits of Don Bosco's successors for the church of Mary Help of Christians in Turin, sculptural groups dedicated to the Madonna della Salette for the Sanctuary of Viù and the Risen Christ in wood for the abbey of Oulx. He is the author of public works including: "Eclipse of the Sun" for the Sculpture Park of Ostellato, the monument to the fallen at work for the municipality of Collegno, "Uno di noi" for the municipality of Pianezza, "Stele dell'adolescenza" for the sculpture park of Viù," Athlete "for the sports centre of Marene," construction work "for the Cassa Edile di Savona and the monument to the humanitarian missions of Diano Marina. Among the personal exhibitions we remember "Hypotheses for a contemporary portrait" in the Nobile Gallery in Bologna and "Gabriele Garbolino Rù" at the Museum of Modern Art Fabbriche Chiaromontana in Agrigento. In 2013 his solo exhibition "Ritratto multiforme" and his participation in the group exhibition "Aluminium with Futurism and contemporaneity", at "Il Cassero per la scultura italiana del XIX e XX secolo" in Montevarchi. In 2015 he is present at the exhibition Holy Mister y (the sacred and the mystery in contemporary art) in the Church of the Sacred Face of Turin on the occasion of the exhibition of the Holy Shroud and wins the competition organized by CEI, together with the office of architecture Kuadra of Cuneo for the construction of the new church of Cinisi.
