Large embossed and chased silver bowl with repeated and plant motifs. Finely engraved lion's head handles. The cup, which can also be used as a centrepiece, was the prize for an aesthetic horse race as inscribed in the reserves. Silver marks of the city of Glasgow impressed near the top rim. Grams 1290.
