Pair of vases in colored porcelain stoneware, 70s
SILVER Seller in Prato, Italy
They were made between 1970 and 1975 in porcelain stoneware in a workshop near Saint-Vallier-sur-Rhode, an area famous for the production of stoneware since the early 19th century, where there is still one of the most important stoneware factories in France (Novoceram). The two vases have different shapes but both are very original and refined, they have been worked by hand, The vases on the bottom show, engraved by hand, strange and illegible graffiti, certainly initials and numbers known only to those who have made them.
