DSC 106 is one of the most famous chairs of the Anonima Castelli brand. Designed in 1965 by Giancarlo Piretti, it is still today an object of innovative and fascinating design. It has now become an integral part of the history of design and is present in countless museum collections all over the world. It can certainly be said that, together with other well-known chairs such as Plia, by Piretti himself, has played a leading role in defining the scope of the term "Italian design". The elegant interweaving of lines that define the forms of DSC 106 has been admired by generations of architects and interior designers who have always recognized the chair not only as having timeless aesthetic quality, but also extreme functionality and durability. The six chairs are presented in good condition of use. They have been disassembled, thoroughly cleaned, painted, waxed and the aluminum brushed. Sturdy and solid they show only a few signs of age. The chairs are stackable.
