Item description
Sideboard attributed to the designer Paolo Buffa from the 1950s. The sideboard is made of various types of wood with four doors and three drawers in the centre. The two side doors are made of light wood and the central ones are made of darker wood: each door can be opened by means of machined brass handles and a key to close them. The three drawers also have identical brass handles. The piece of furniture has various details that denote care and great skill in woodworking. First of all we find a wooden insert in the shape of a wave covering its sides. The doors on both sides are painted with floral ornaments. We find these elegant iconographic signs also in the three drawers. Noteworthy are its feet made of horn copies with an ornamental shell-shaped insert. The feet have a brass ring. The sideboard is in its original condition with cracks and scratches. The sideboard is delivered fully restored.
