ALIVAR MVSEVM set of 4 TULIP 769 S by Eero Saarinen from 1982-84 very rare collector's set. Set of 4 swivel Tulip 769-S chairs from 1982 with cast aluminium satin-finish pedestal, ABS shell and foam cushions covered in red textured fabric. They are 40 years old and in excellent condition. Very slight dots and tiny, almost imperceptible marks on the surfaces. The cushions are in excellent condition, only on the top there is a small stain of 5 mm in diameter in 2 cushions. The inner part has the 4 cushion retainers darkened. But that does not affect the stability of the fixing on the seat. Beautiful, for connoisseurs and professional collectors. They have been impeccably maintained.
