Item description

Lovely console table by Vittorio Dassi, probably part of a bedroom or boudoir furnishing. In the half-moon floor there is a back glass decorated in gold (original). The body of the piece of furniture is worked in parallel round lines (grissinato), green lacquered. In the middle it gives space to a drawer in maple and tuja briar, on the sides 2 retractable drawers, delicious handle. Followed by 2 wavy ribs that curve down until they close in an "L" shape. Everything rests on a base made of rosewood, outlined at the base by a maple profile that recalls the drawer. On the back of the ridge or leg we find wood carved in gouge and painted gold as the top. Overall, it is a piece of furniture full of elements, but with an exceptional decorative balance. The cabinet offers the possibility of being arranged for multiple combinations from a frame above to a positioning in an interior.
