Italian painting from the late 19th century. First oil-on-canvas work depicting male portrait Wine Drinker of good painterly hand. Painting of nice size and proportion adorned with modern wood and plaster frame, carved and painted, complete with fabric and gilt wood passe-partout. Painting of great character and pleasantness, signed lower left A. Bottesini signature under study. Work that has undergone conservation restoration, color resumed with patches placed on the back of the canvas. In fair condition with some signs of restoration. Light painting H 48 x W 38 cm.
