Item description
Austrian armchair in walnut briar; the structure is extremely solid and allows, thanks to its classic and intelligent design, to distribute the weights in a uniform and practical way; the seat is very wide and very comfortable, even the backrest is consequently positioned at the right height for maximum comfort; the armrests rest on the bases, they are much more massive than other similar armchairs. The armchair was handcrafted in Vienna between 1925 and 1927; the original fabric has deteriorated a lot, so it was coated in Italy by a skilled Florentine master craftsman who used a precious black velvet with high wear resistance, bringing an object full of style and personality back to life with skill and competence. The wooden part has been hand-treated with ancient restoration techniques by our team of craftsmen and is in excellent condition.
