Item description

Danish executive desk from the 1960s. The geometric shape of the solid teak legs and beveled edges strongly indicate the design of Illum Wikkelso from the same period. This is a typical example of mid-century modern Scandinavian design from the 1960s. The desk has six drawers with long solid teak handles. The top drawers can be locked, and the original key is included. It also has three open bookcases in the back, making the desk a functional piece in an open space. Excellent original vintage condition with slight signs of use refreshed with a coat of Danish oil. Height of drawers: 8 cm, space for chair: H: 68 cm / W: 63 cm, size of open shelves: 2 x H: 31.5 / W: 38.5 / D: 21 cm; 1 x H: 31.5 / W: 63 / D: 27.5 cm, height from floor: 33.5 cm.
