Umbrella stand designed by Ettore Sottsass and produced by the Rinnovel metalworks in the 1970s. A rare and famous object, passed through many important auctions in the sector. Made entirely of painted aluminium. Ettore Sottsass (Innsbruck, Austria 1917 - Milan, Italy 2007) was an Italian architect and designer. His work involved the creation of furniture, jewellery, glass, lamps, home and office objects, as well as the design of numerous buildings and interiors.
