Brass executive table lamp designed by Eileen Gray for the French manufacturer Jumo in 1935. Adjustable arm and shade in black lacquered metal and brass. Two-light bayonet bulb. The switch is located on the base. The double arm can be tilted both forwards and backwards and the reflective screen can be rotated on its own axis. Eileen Gray is one of the most influential women in 20th century design. Today her works are among the most sought-after on the market, collected by major institutions such as the Centre Pompidou, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the National Museum of Ireland. Yves Saint Laurent was one of his most important private collectors. Excellent condition, in keeping with age and use. Fully functional. Original cable and plug. 40 x 44 x 16 cm.
