Item description
Elegant French writing table from the end of the 19th century. Furniture inlaid with walnut, mahogany, cherry, maple, rosewood and fruit wood decorated with baskets of flowers. Finished centre table with double shelf adorned with golden brass ring nut (see photo). Furniture decorated with gilded and chiselled bronze complete with a front drawer. Drawer that offers inside a desk top covered in leather, three small side compartments for ink and pens. Sliding desk top that conceals a small compartment below (see photo). Lacking a key, it has a few small lacks of paving. Structurally sound, mobile on the whole in a fairly good state of conservation. Desk top height 69 cm.
