Item description
Orseolo model table. Produced by Gavina and designed by Carlo Scarpa in 1972. Rectangular top in black lacquered wood. The structure is made by assembling elementary geometric panels, in particular the outer parts of the top have double thickness. The union between these parts is made through joints in satin-finished cast aluminum. A modern table, but above all, an absolute masterpiece and an unsurpassed model of formal beauty that comes from a great intuition of Carlo Scarpa. The table is part of the Ultrarazionale collection. Good condition, shows some signs of use on the top.
