Item description

Fine marble sculpture designed by the great Angelo Mangiarotti for a fine Italian manufacturer in the 1970s. This sculpture is a simply marvellous decorative object. It is made entirely of black marble with fantastic white and grey veins that give it elegance and pomposity. The base is composed of a flared cylinder that is larger at the base and narrows as it rises. The stem has a very attractive and scenic round shape. Above this stem rises the upper part, also made of black marble, which serves as a bowl or planter. This sculpture is suitable for creating romantic outdoor gardens, to be used with water, otherwise it could also be very beautiful as a planter sui generis, in a splendid vintage style.
