Item description
A modern, Scandinavian teak wall unit with the three-bay modular shelving system Ergo, designed by John Texmon and Einar Blindheim for Blindheim Mobelfabrikk and made in Norway in the 1960s. The slightly curved sides give a warm impression and the sculptural rails create an elegant and grandiose image. This shelf system comprises: a cabinet with three drawers and sliding doors H: 43.5 / W: 80 / D: 35 cm (height of each drawer: 8 cm); a 3-drawer chest of drawers H: 43.5 / W: 80 / D: 35 cm (height of each drawer 11 cm); a cabinet with sliding doors H: 43.5 / W: 80 / D: 35 cm; a cabinet with glass doors H: 42.5 / W: 80 / D: 23 cm, five shelves 21 cm deep, two flanged shelves 22 cm deep and 13 cm high; four teak rail legs supporting a height of 191 cm; brass hardware. The wall cabinet is in excellent vintage condition. Made in Norway' stamp on the back. It is not necessary, but we recommend fixing the wall unit to the wall using the holes provided on the top.
