Magnificent pair of stools by the great architect Gio Ponti, 1950s. The pair of stools has an original brown leather seat, in perfect condition. The stools have clean geometric shapes that create a rigorous line, Ponti's armrest shapes are known to always vibrate upwards to create movement and depth. At the end of the stool, on either side, are two triangular shapes that can also act as handles to facilitate movement. Being a true work of art in the world of mid-century design, the pair is ideal for any living room or bedroom, but obviously of a high standard.
