For sale is a vintage floor lamp from the mid-1970s, made in Italy in the 'Space Age' style then in vogue. The main body is chrome-plated, with a decorative but sober base, the shade is a large opaline glass sphere decorated with six thick smoked glass blades further decorating the piece. Three of the blades are simple rectangles that run all the way along the chrome rod, from the base to the lamp holder; the other three are more elaborate and continue in a sinuous arc that partially encloses the opaline sphere. The lamp is preserved in pristine condition, without any signs of age. It is also fully functional and the plug was recently replaced, retaining the original cable and switch. If you are looking for a striking piece that can be conveniently placed in both large and small rooms, look no further: this is the right lamp for your project!
