Item description
Pair of Napoleon III sideboards made in France in the 19th century (around the 1860s-70s). Fine exotic wood structure with Sèvres porcelain and bronze details. The front features a hinged door with a Sèvres porcelain plaque in the center surrounded by a geometrically patterned inlay. The under-top band has a significant thickness dictated by the presence of a finely chiseled gilt bronze decoration. The top is also covered with the same wood with light edging contrasting with the dark base background. The two corners are embellished by the presence of both bottom and top finely chiseled gilt bronze elements. Complete with certificate of authenticity.
