Refined and precious water goblets in Italian blown glass; the set consists of six pieces; the bowl of each glass was barrel blown, then the craftsman attached the stem and base by hand while hot; once cooled, the glass was ground both on the bowl and on the stem; a fine rocaille in pure gold was then applied on the edge with the gold leaf technique; this is spread on the surface of the glass coated with flux, the decorator engraves the leaf with the desired design and removes the excess parts; the whole is indelibly fixed to the glass by annealing in the oven. A simpler gilding was also done on the edge of the base. The glasses were created between 1970 and 1974 by master glassmakers in a small workshop in Montelupo (Empoli-Tuscany, Italy). The glasses are in excellent condition, in fact they were part of an exhibition, therefore never used. Diameter: 8cm.
