A large and fine pair of good 19th-century Black Forest begging bears with glass eyes. Great features with their paws pointed down (as if begging), the bears in a seated position. Good antique condition with professional small repairs (invisible to the eye) to the extremities and tight lines all commensurate with age and does not distract - please view images or ask questions. A great pair but sold as described. Images taken in direct sunlight. Circa: 19th century. Largest bear: 10.75 inches (27.5 cm) height approx. Smaller bear: 9 inches (23 cm) height approx. Important note: some words are being lost automatically in translation, if in doubt please send me a message. We always pack securely and usually ship within 24 hours (weekdays). We have chosen to use intOndo's shipping method, but we are also happy to use our own: for expensive items we would use FedEx, UPS or similar. For cheaper items, we will use Royal Mail with signature and tracking. Contact us and we will get you a price. Safe shipping to Italy is usually as follows: 0-1 kilo approx. £25, 1+-2 kilos approx. £40, 2-6 kilos £60. These prices can of course vary depending on the value of the item. We always charge only the actual shipping cost and are always happy to combine shipments to reduce costs for customers. We are currently still shipping from the UK (although we will be moving to Belgium later this year), due to brexit the import tax is the responsibility of the buyer.
