Olivetti Ico typewriter with case. The brainchild of Adriano Olivetti and Gino Levi Martinoli, head of the Design and Study Department founded in 1929, the Olivetti MP1 was physically designed in 1932 by Riccardo Levi, with design by Aldo and Adriano Magnelli. Olivetti's first portable typewriter, and also known as the ICO model. It was produced between 1932 and 1950 when it was replaced by the Olivetti Letter 22.
