Wool tapestry by Ottavio Missoni for Saporiti, 1980s

Patchwork of pure wool fabrics by Ottavio Missoni assembled and transformed into tapestry for Saporiti, 1980s. Ottavio Missoni was the founder, together with his wife Rosita, of the Missoni fashion house; he was a great stylistic innovator and forerunner of the times. The tapestry is affixed to a wooden panel with removable metal feet. The structure can be hung on the wall or placed on the floor thanks to its own frame. Present label on the back. It is in good conservative condition: the frame is perfect; it has a fabric lack visible from photos that is easily restored.
