French painting dated 1954. Oil on canvas work depicting a copy of the famous painting by Auguste Mayer (1805-1890), Battle of Trafalgar of good pictorial quality. Painting of great size and impact, ideal for furnishing a room or living room, for antique dealers and interior designers. Work that develops horizontally, adorned with a beautifully decorated sculpted and gilded (bronze colored) wooden frame. Painting signed and dated bottom right (see photo), signature under study. In good condition. Light painting H 59 x W 114 cm.
