Oak bookcase from the China series by Børge Mogensen for C.M. Madsen (Denmark), 1960s This has four modules with twenty-eight adjustable shelves. It provides a surplus of space for books and decorations. All shelves are adjustable according to needs, providing the possibility of different arrangements. It can be assembled with metal brackets on the back or positioned in separate modules. The wooden base can be detached for more convenient transportation or different arrangements. It is not necessary, but recommended, to fix it to the wall. We supply both rear and wall brackets (the brackets are not original for this series but provide additional safety). The two modules with solid wood base are 161 cm high, 122 cm wide and 26 cm deep. The two upper modules are 133 cm high, 122 cm wide and 26 cm deep. The library has been entirely renovated. The backs have a couple of inlays but thanks to the careful renovation it has a coherent appearance. The wood was treated with Danish oil.
