Achille Castiglioni Frisbi suspension for Flos, 1980s

Iconic Suspension Lamp Frisbi model, designed by Achille Castiglioni for Flos in 1978. This project, fully entered the history of Italian design, stands out for its innovative character and light and balanced composition. The opal methacrylate diffuser disc (Ø 60 cm), suspended through three thin cables, reflects the light emitted by the central lighting body in chromed metal, creating direct and diffused lighting at the same time. The cable and counterweight system also allows a flexible and precise height adjustment. The lamp has slight signs of the time on the diffuser and the reflector, compatible with age and use, but is overall in good aesthetic condition. We recommend the review of the electrical system before installation, in order to guarantee full functionality and safety.
