The "Hexa" model is distinguished by its elegant composition and the extraordinary engineering of its sliding panels, able to radically transform the useful surface through a simple gesture. The solid wood structure with open pore finish painted black satin, accommodates four sliding tops coated in laminate: two white and two red, can be combined in various geometric configurations. The mechanism is entirely wooden, manufactured with such precision that no metal components are required. The carvings are perfect, allowing a fluid movement, silent and continuous. A true masterpiece of functional design. In excellent vintage condition, with slight signs of time compatible with age and use. Mechanism working perfectly, well-preserved surfaces. Size variable depending on the opening of the panels. Designer - Bernard Vuarnesson Born in France in 1935, Bernard Vuarnesson trained as a wood engineer at the École Supérieure du Bois in Paris, continuing his studies at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers. From the 1970s he collaborated with Ariane Vuarnesson and founded the creative workshop "Sculptures-Jeux". His work is distinguished by the ability to combine aesthetics, engineering precision and transformable functionality.
