Elegant self-supporting modular bookcase produced by AV Arredamenti Contemporanei in Italy between the end of the ’50s and the early ’60s.
The structure consists of two solid wood uprights, with a slender and minimal design, which support a series of veneered wood shelves adjustable to different heights. In the lower part there is a storage unit with two hinged doors, which can be used as a bar or multifunction compartment, a typical detail of bookcases of this period.
The base is in black painted metal with brass tips, a refined detail that visually lightens the structure and gives the composition a sophisticated character.
A versatile and timeless piece of furniture, ideal for both modernist environments and contemporary interiors, perfect as a bookcase, shelving or small bar system.
