Thick colored glass Prod. Seguso 1960s Seguso is one of the oldest families on the island of Murano dedicated to the art of Venetian glass, known for the production of objects such as vases, cups, chandeliers and for tailor-made projects. Seguso works have been created for European royal families, for the Vatican, hotels and theatres. Seguso glass is present in the permanent collections of glass and contemporary art museums, including the Moma in New York, and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Corning Glass Museum and the Murano Glass Museum. The oldest official document of the family is kept in the` State Archives of Venice and is dated 3 May 1397: in it Filius Segusi is mentioned in relation to the processing of Murano glass.
