Jasba Keramik vase 1960s Fat Lava style. Measures 36cm tall, 13.5cm diameter of vase mouth. Floral decoration and texture, from West Germany.
Jasba Keramik is a company founded in 1926 in Germany specializing in ceramics. The decoration places the vase within the vintage production and the "Fat Lava" artistic movement. It is a piece with a design reminiscent of the pop art era and retro design of the 60s. The Fat Lava style is characterized by the use of thick, colorful glazes (hence the name "lava") on often simple shapes, which create bright, abstract textures and patterns.
