This is an example of the Amanta coffee table, an icon of mid-century Italian design, created by Mario Bellini for C&B Italia (later B&B Italia) in the 1960s.
The coffee table, square in shape and white/cream in colour, is part of a modular seating system and is made of Fiberlite (fibreglass/printed plastic) with a monocoque technique which gives the structure a robust appearance and soft, continuous lines. The upper floor has a slight rise on the edges and rounded corners, highlighting the innovative approach and experimentation with materials typical of that period.
The general structure shows light signs of aging, which attest to its age and authenticity, without however compromising its aesthetics or functionality. The embossed brand visible on the lower part of the top confirms the originality of the model and the manufacturer.
