This Lobbytop three-seater leather sofa is upholstered in soft, high-quality leather and is in very good condition. The black, smooth leather shows a slight patina on the seat cushions. The solid metal frames, coated with a rubber-like plastic, are flawless and support a plastic tray into which the cushions are placed. The sofa offers excellent seating comfort.
German designer Otto Zapf created the Lobbytop range in the late 1970s for the German manufacturer Drabert, employing a design style that was forward-thinking for its time. In 1979, he received the iF Design Award for the Lobbytop line. Drabert was one of the most important furniture manufacturers of the 1960s and 70s, known for its high-quality office furniture and collaborating during this period with renowned designers such as Gerd Lange and Otto Zapf.
