This elegant mid-century tripod table lamp was designed by Helena Frantová and produced in Czechoslovakia during the 1950s for the lighting manufacturer Okolo. The lamp reflects the refined post-war Czech modernist approach, combining light metal construction with balanced proportions and functional clarity.
The lamp features a slender tripod brass structure supporting a characteristic conical lampshade, a form typical of Czech lighting design from the period. This model was produced in several minor structural variations, primarily differing in the base and socket holder, while the lampshade design remained consistent across versions.
The piece is preserved in very good vintage condition and has been professionally rewired. The surface shows light age-related patina consistent with its age, without affecting functionality.
