This clothes wardrobe was designed by Vichr & spol. in the 1930s and later produced by Kovona in the 1950s in the former Czechoslovakia. The piece represents Central European residential furniture modeled after Bauhaus-influenced modernist principles, with an emphasis on clarity, functionality and understated detailing. The furniture is made of oak wood and features chromed metal elements. The chrome surfaces are well preserved, while the wooden structure remains solid. Overall wear is consistent with age. The internal clothes rail has a slight curve, which does not affect functionality or stability. The piece of furniture is fully functional and ready for immediate use. Its clean lines and practical interior make it suitable for the bedroom or dressing room, as well as interiors focused on early modern furniture.
