The lamp is a "Meta" model, produced by Stilnovo Italia and distributed in the 1970s by the Dutch company Artimeta. Although the example in the photos does not have original labels, bibliographic research and period catalogs confirm its attribution thanks to the unique combination of its elements: the heavy cylindrical base in black lacquered steel, the arched stem in solid chromed iron and the characteristic domed lampshade in opaline acrylic.
It is a highly sought after piece among collectors of Space Age designs, known to have been one of the flagship and most expensive models in distribution catalogs of the time. Its sculptural structure and the quality of the materials - typical of Stilnovo production from the 1970s - certify its historical authenticity despite the absence of the physical brand.
