Rare original pair of Demetrio 45 model modular coffee tables, designed by Vico Magistretti for Artemide in the 1970s. The tables are designed to be stackable and modular, allowing for different configurations: low tables, bedside tables or two-level structure, as shown in the photo. The design is essential, sculptural and perfectly representative of Magistretti's formal research and of Italian design of the period. Both examples are period originals, complete with Artemide brand, model indication, designer and patent numbers printed under the top.
