A rare example of American craftsmanship from the ’30s, this vase is crafted from blown glass with a finely engraved sterling silver overlay. The glass features a vibrant petroleum green hue that alternates with black bands, creating a refined and modern contrast, typical of the Art Deco aesthetic. The silver overlay decoration represents stylised and symmetrical floral motifs, expertly hand-chiselled, which develop in an elegant balance between ornament and structure.
