Item description

Neoclassical chest of drawers in walnut with mahogany, maple and walnut threads. Front with three tripartite drawers, uprights at forty-five degrees, slightly truncated pyramidal feet. Handles and escutcheons in worked and gilded bronze, top with insert in posthumous green Alpi marble. Fir interior, drawer bottoms replaced. Sicily, early 19th century.
