This floor lamp with integrated side table was designed by Jindřich Halabala and produced by UP závody in Czechoslovakia during the 1930s–1940s. The design reflects functionalist principles with elements of late Art Deco typical of interwar Central European production.
The structure is formed from chrome-plated tubular steel, rising from a circular veneered wood base and extending into an arched arm. It supports a spherical opaline glass shade and incorporates a round side table. The piece remains in good original condition, with patina to the chrome and visible wear to the wooden elements.
A multifunctional object combining lighting and utility, characteristic of Halabala’s work. Wiring should be checked by a qualified electrician in your country before installation
