This Sideboard is a refined example of Mid-Century Modern furniture, attributed to the famous Italian designer Vittorio Dassi and dating back to the 1950s.
Made of maple wood, it has 5 important decorative brass friezes in the center of the 5 doors which function as escutcheons for the 5 all original locks.
Characterized by a sculptural line with sides that flare upwards, it rests on 4 legs connected to each other, also flared and with high brass tips that wrap them.
The vintage state of conservation of the structure is excellent, healthy and without breakages or defects, it has all the brass parts and the original working locks with 5 keys.
The interior is made up of two double compartments on the sides and a single compartment in the centre, all three with a shelf in the centre.
The paintwork, probably being original, needs to be repainted, as well as the interior, all with its shelf, which has never been painted.
