Extraordinary and rather rare wall light produced by Altalite, a historic division of the prestigious Targetti Sankey group. The model is a perfect example of Italian Space Age design from the 1970s, characterized by an aesthetic that recalls organ pipes or jet engines, typical of the technological experimentation of that decade. The wall light is made up of four chromed steel cylinders of decreasing lengths, mounted on a mirrored rectangular base. Each cylinder ends with a housing for E27 bulbs, designed to create a directed and spectacular beam of light. There are black ignition/adjustment sliders on the cylinder body, a functional detail typical of Altalite production which gives the object a period "hi-tech" appearance.
